Pawel Tomasz Wasilewski popularly known by the name Paul Wesley, is an multi-award winning actor, producer and director best known for his role in the cult television the show The Vampire Diaries. For his role in the show, he's earned several awards and nominations like those of the Teen Choice Awards as well as the 'Young Hollywood Awards. Wesley was born on the streets of New Brunswick New Jersey, United States. During his college years, he demonstrated an interest for acting. Rutgers University was his next step. After realizing that his talents as an actor could be a great career, he chose to quit. On the American TV series Another World the actor made his debut in TV. A few years later, he starred in a lead role in 'Wolf Lake a TV series which aired through the CBS network. In the following year, when he landed the character Stefan Salvatore for the American television program The Vampire Diaries, his career was transformed. The series has seen him conduct a handful of episodes. From the moment he made his debut in the film The Last Run he has appeared in several popular movies. Recently, he was seen in the films Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer as an actor in supporting roles. The popularity of his social media accounts is quite impressive, having an impressive 13 million followers on Instagram and over 4.1,000,000 people following him on Twitter.
