Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. Her most well-known role is for her role as Bo in the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay who is director of drama and producer of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. The father of Silk, Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching while at work, and also attending play rehearsals. Silk appeared as a little girl in commercials. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Her early theater experience includes at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999, to keep acting. After that, she relocated to Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an Actors' Workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. When she got engaged in 2008, the couple married in 2009. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton at the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born May 2013and had a son called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, her second child was born 13 May 2016. Silk is well-known for her role on television in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was awarded a nomination by the Gemini Awards. In 2009, she got the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the third season finale episode and broke the news to viewers of the show in a Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk announced on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that the production was set to begin on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. Her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical on Lost Girl was named one of the most popular TV Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top Television Couple in the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is a huge online fan base on Facebook and Twitter as a direct result of its popularity.
