Kyra Miniturn Sedgwick has been known as a well-known American television and film actor for many years. The actress is a household name all over the planet but especially in America. Sedgwick was first attracted to performing art of the arts, Broadway, and acting when she turned 12 years old. Her mother was very interested in Broadway and introduced the show to her. When she was of 16, Sedgwick received her first professional acting role on the show 'Another World'. Sedgwick became a household name in American TV for her remarkable performance on "The Closer" which was a seven-season television series which won her the Golden Globe Award and Emmy.
